Fuckkkk . im barely coherent rn but like .... the trans allegories in nimona man..... to the CORE of its story. when nimona first said "kids were taught that they are heroes when they struck a sword through something different than them" and "everyone in this kingdom wants to struck a sword through my chest and sometimes i just want to let them" and "i feel like i'd die if i dont shapeshift . i wouldn't be living" and when nimona kept on having to tell ballister "i'm NIMONA" when he kept on asking over and over what IS she and why cant she just be a GIRL it would be EASIER for her if she was just a GIRL but she asked "easier for WHO????" FUCKKKKK.
she's nimona and she's been a bird and a fish and a deer and a girl and she would never fit in whatever she is . she's all that and more because she's nimona and when people see her as what she is their first instinct is to fear her . they fear her and hurt her and called her a monster and fine if you want me to be a monster i'll fucking be a monster . and then what ? that's all she is to them, in the end ?
